WarioWare D.I.Y. is the second entry in the WarioWare series on the Nintendo DS. The main feature of this game is that the player can create their own microgames, in addition to playing through several pre-made microgames. It had a companion game, WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, released on the Wii.
As part of 9-Volt's stage, there is a Balloon Fight microgame. It is similar to the microgame seen in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! since it takes place in Balloon Trip mode. The player can touch the screen to cause the Balloon Fighter to flap his arms and fly upward slightly, and has to avoid the Sparks randomly placed on the screen. The name of the game is abbreviated to be "B. Fight" in the English localizations, but is named "バルーントリップ" (Balloon Trip) in the Japanese version.
There is one unlockable record by 9-Volt which is also named "B. Fight" and features a reggae-themed medley of music from Balloon Fight. It includes the game starting jingle, phase clear jingle, Balloon Trip/Bonus Stage theme, Balloon Bird parachuting theme, super bonus jingle, and the game over jingle.
