Phase 8 of Vs. Balloon Fight is the second turquoise phase of the game.
Layout
This phase's top and bottom halves are largely mirrors of each other, other than the placement of Balloon Birds and clouds. In the bottom half, there are two six tile wide platforms, each with a pink Balloon Bird, floating above a wider platform in the middle of the screen. A cloud is just to the left of the wide platform, and a Propeller is between the two scoreboard platforms.
In the upper half, the arrangement of the platforms is flipped vertically, with green Balloon Birds on top of the smaller platforms two Balloon Birds on top of the wider platform, the one on the left being yellow and the one on the right being green. There's a big cloud directly in the center of the upper half, as well as two smaller clouds, one to the right of the wider platform and one below the left smaller platform.
Trivia
- This phase, like every other phase before Phase 16, is never repeated.
- The bottom half of the stage resembles Phase 2 of the NES version, excluding the three extra Balloon Birds and second cloud.
