The Nintendo DSi was a successor to the Nintendo DS released in 2008. It was compatible with DS games but also included two cameras which could be used in DSi-specific games which were primarily distributed as DSiWare on the system's digital shop. The system was also later released in a larger form factor called the DSi XL.
Games
There were no Balloon Fight games specifically designed for the DSi, though two DSiWare games include references to the Balloon Fight series.
- PiCTOBiTS (January 28th, 2009) - One stage and its dark variant are based on Balloon Fight.
- Electroplankton: Beatnes (July 11th, 2009) - Two of the sound effects produced by the Electroplankton are from Balloon Fight.
- Nintendo DSi Instrument Tuner (September 2nd, 2009) - The application's game mode is themed around a Bonus Stage from Balloon Fight, where Balloons with notes written on them will float up out of Pipes, and the user must match the note.
Although there was a WarioWare game made for the DSi called WarioWare: Snapped!, it is the only WarioWare game to not include any reference to Balloon Fight.
