- For the handheld game system, see Game Boy (Handheld).
Game Boys are large objects in Balloon Kid and Balloon Fight GB that act as a portal to the Bonus Stages. Their design is taken directly from the real-world Game Boy system, which is also the system that Balloon Kid is made for (though the game Balloon Fight GB is enhanced by the successor, the Game Boy Color).
Appearance
The object itself is very obviously based on the original Game Boy system. The D-pad, A, and B buttons are visible, as well as the power light. The screen appears to show a small icon that depicts a bonus stage, with a Balloon and three pipes. In Balloon Fight GB, the color of the object varies between levels and even within the same level on occasion.
Function
The object will always warp the player to a Bonus Stage once the player walks into it. The object is not solid, so enemies can walk past it and you cannot land on top of it or bounce off of it.
