Starting on March 19th, 2014, there were several songs made available through the Nintendo eShop as free DLC for this game, part of a promotion for the upcoming NES Remix 2 and NES Remix pack. The songs were based on the first NES Remix,
Balloon Fight (Balloon Trip)[]
One of the songs released as part of this pack was directly taken from Balloon Fight, specifically the Balloon Trip and Bonus Stage theme. The song was named "Balloon Fight (Balloon Trip)"[Notes 2] and played the original music for about 1:45.
Famicom Remix[]
The title screen music from the first NES Remix was also available as a song. Just as in the original game, the song includes several sound effects from the included games mixed within the original composition, including sounds from Balloon Fight. The sound of a Balloon Bird being knocked off the stage can be heard in the song.
