Dropping is a technique present only in Balloon Kid and Balloon Fight GB.
Description[]
"Dropping" your Balloons is simply accomplished by pressing B. Alice or Samm will then drop their Balloons, which will force you to fall if you are in the air. Once on the ground, the game becomes more like a traditional platformer, as you can jump and walk along the ground. In some stages, there are paths which are only tall enough for Alice to walk through without Balloons. Although the player could also rely on hazards or screen scrolling to pop their Balloons, dropping them is faster and more reliable. This method is also the only way to damage any bosses.
