Balloon Fight Wiki

Club Nintendo was a rewards program for Nintendo products. The earliest version of the program began in Europe in 2002, expanding to Japan in 2003, followed by North America and Australia in 2008. The program was discontinued in 2015, with My Nintendo taking its place in 2016.

Members of Club Nintendo could earn "coins" by registering codes they received in return for buying games and systems or by taking surveys about games they've played. The coins users earned could then be redeemed for physical or digital rewards. If users earned enough coins within a year, they could reach either gold or platinum rank and choose one of several exclusive rewards at the end of the year. Several of the rewards available through the service were related to Balloon Fight, including the following:

  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U - A Smashing Soundtrack
    • To receive this soundtrack, a user had to register a copy of both Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on Club Nintendo.
  • Club Nintendo Picross
    • This was a downloadable 3DS game available only in Japan and Korea for 80 coins.
  • Club Nintendo Picross Plus
    • Only available in Japan, including several new puzzles and alternate versions of puzzles from the previous game.
  • Tingle's Balloon Fight DS
    • This game was exclusively released as a platinum rank reward in 2016 in Japan only.
  • 20th Anniversary Collection Box Famicom Mini Vol.3
    • This was a case which was designed to hold the boxes for the third set of Famicom Mini games on Game Boy Advance. This particular design included Famicom Mini: Balloon Fight. Users could redeem this reward if they registered all the games in this volume's set.
  • Balloon Fight (Wii U)
    • This was available as a reward for 200 coins.
